In Spanish class on Tuesday the 27th of November, a special guest came to each fifth grade classroom.  The special guest that came was Frankie Rivera.  He is a musician from Puerto Rico.  He played music, sang songs and taught us all about Puerto Rican music.  Some of the instruments he played were (in Spanish) the guitarra, guiro, cuatro, maracas, chicharra, cucharitas, claves, and many more!

Frankie taught us a song that involved counting.  Me and my class loved Frankie.  He kept you entertained, dancing, and always singing.  Frankie was a really good guitar player and I could tell he loved children.  Frankie said he mostly worked with his family playing music.  You could also tell he takes his time and is dedicated when it comes to music.  Frankie was a joy to have in the class and I hope all fifth graders enjoyed him.
