Connecticut Invents

On Tuesday, March 18, Patrick Smith from the Museum of Connecticut History presented the program "Connecticut Invents!” to Harwinton Consolidated Fourth Students. This program focused on famous and not so famous Connecticut inventors and their inventions. Students discovered the many inventors and inventions that have come from Connecticut and also got a chance to become inventors themselves.  Each group had to create a bridge out of drinking straws that would hold 100 pennies.  Some of the designs were amazing!
