Work day and Office Hours with your teachers

The teacher for each course will post the assigned activity and expectations by
8:00am on the designated dayEach class will have an assigned activity with a graded assessment that should last about 45 minutes or so. Lessons will look differently than the typical school day.

Teachers will communicate via Teams on what to expect for each day.

The expectation is that on each day students are working on four different class assignments. As of right now, there is no assigned time to get work done each day; your schedule can be flexible each day.

On Fridays, teachers will have scheduled Office Hours where they are available to answer emails and connect with students and parents over concerns.

Teachers will communicate their Office Hours with students via TEAMs.

School Counselors will have office hours daily, to help support students as well; those will be communicated to students.

Teachers will reach out to students prior to the Monday, March 23rd launch so that families are prepared with expectations for Phase I.

Teachers may use video conferencing, like Zoom, in order to teach content and connect with students.

The expectation is that although schooling is being provided in a different format, school rules have not changed.
